A lid with a slider is a great choice for your daily coffee, tea or other favorite beverages, so it’s important not to forget to clean its hard-to-reach parts.
The slider is the part of the lid that’s most easily overlooked during daily cleaning. Over time, coffee grounds or other beverage residue can accumulate right underneath it, so be sure to remove it before giving the lid a thorough cleaning. Once the slider is removed, you can also access parts that are otherwise harder to reach. Clean the lid and slider thoroughly and rinse them to remove all beverage residue, then let them dry.
Once all parts are clean and dry, simply reattach the slider to the lid.
The slider lid is not designed to provide a complete seal, so we recommend using it in an upright position. It is also not suitable for very hot beverages, as the steam may cause the lid to pop off. If the beverage is very hot, leave the slider slightly open.
